It wasn’t long ago that the clubbing scene of Phuket was not so great. All that people played was rock and some techno. The clubs also played only not so famous country music. However, today the scene has changed and the Phuket clubs today are much better than what used to be sometime back. The Club Lime, located at Patong is considered to be the best club in the town.
Sometime back, there were no clubs in the city where one could dance freely to his favorite music. The reason behind this was that the clubs played only techno music and for other forms of music, one had to go to Bangkok or to any other country. The change in the scene is primarily due to the new generation of DJs who are as good as any European DJ.
The best Club of Phuket, named as Club Lime, was inaugurated just two years ago. The club was unique as it wasn’t only a beer bar and had many other features that are found in the best clubs of the world. The price of the drinks was not very high when compared to any other Phuketian club, but the music was outstanding.
The main aim of Club Lime was to provide people with hip shaking music. And for this, purpose all the best DJs of Thailand were invited to play here. A few DJs namely Eddy and D[r]eadmongey started their DJing career at Club Lime and later were famous all over the world. In no time, Lime was known for its best techno and house beat music, but this didn’t mean that other forms of music like electro and break want played at Club Lime.
Even the best DJs from various parts of the world performed at Club Lime. These DJs brought the international sense of clubbing to Phuket and thus clubbing at Phuket rose gradually to meet the international standards.
Club Lime, being the busiest club of the town still has a main problem. The people of Phuket aren’t enthusiastic clubbers and thus on weekday, we don’t see the club roaring with people. However weekends are very busy and people have to struggle to get into the club.
This isn’t the only case with the Club Lime, but also most of the clubs in Bangkok. The crowd appears only on the big nights and all the other times, the clubs remain silent.

Phuket island is famous for its nightlife, but it is not just the girls that are much in demand, the gay lesbian scene is also a prominent feature of Phuket night life. There are different gay clubs in the town that provide hot handsome and attractive boys in the bars. Paradise Complex is a venue that is best for such sort of activities.
Paradise complex is situated in front of the huge Royal paradise hotel and provides the customers with fantastic entertainment during the night. But now due to the paradise complex, they are a part of Phuket night life. Each year more and more people visit this place for massage, saunas, go-go bars, disco, pubs and gyms.
This place is lively all the night and even lasts till the afternoon sometimes. During the day time this complex presents calm and relaxing view of a shopping area. But as soon as the sun goes down this place is full with the hustle and bustle of men seeking men. You can have the fun as you like as there is no limitation to it here.
If you are just there to see and enjoy, you should not miss the Simon Cabaret show in which ladyboys perform delightful activities to the spectators and amaze them by their songs and dance that is exactly the same as the girls could do.
There are some guest houses in the paradise complex where you can book rooms and can have fun with your male friends. You can dance, swim, and do whatever you like to. The bar attendants in the complex are trained to deal with the customers in a refined manner. However all of them may not be gay. It is better to get information from the bar owner about the type of company you are looking for. It indeed helps a lot.
So if you are heading towards Phuket island, do visit Paradise Complex because so much fun awaits you there.

Phuket is fast becoming Thailand’s top island destination in terms of partying. The full moon parties have had their day and even the island of Koh Samui has lost its charm in recent years. The Phuket nightlife scene has been developing quietly and looks set to get better and better in the years to come.
You’ve probably heard a lot of things about Phuket nightlife. Do a few Google searches and you’ll find pictures of scantily clad Thai girls gyrating. That’s one side of nightlife in Phuket and it goes on mostly in Patong.
The nightlife in Patong is loud and brash. There are lots of discos, beer bars and a few go-go bars. There are a few clubs that stand out and are worth visiting. Hollywood is a relative newcomer in terms of nightclubs. It’s certainly nothing to get too excited about, but if you fancy dancing and drinking to mindless music then this place can be a lot of fun.
Club Lime was once the best club in Phuket. It took the Phuket nightlife scene by storm when it first opened, hosting great parties with local and international DJs. The club has since taken the populist route and now hosts lots of all-you-can-drink events and foam parties. Still fun if you’re in the right frame of mind – can get very busy.
Elsewhere, Phuket nightlife is a lot more stylish. Take Surin Beach for example. It has recently become the hip place to hang out and party in Phuket. Stereo Lab and Catch Beach Club are leading the way in that respect.
Another side to Phuket nightlife can be found in Phuket Town, which is where you’ll discover dozens of local nightclubs with live music and cheap whiskey to keep punters entertained until 1 or 2 am.

Nature has gifted the earth with a lot of beauty. There are numerous places in Thailand that are full of splendid scenery, dazzling waterfalls and palm trees surrounding the beaches like a roof top. Phuket is one such place that many people call heaven on earth.
Among the various attractions in Phuket, there are numerous discos and nightclubs that are frequented by locals and foreigners alike. The nightlife in Phuket attracts all kinds of people, especially tourists from from around the world. It is well known that Thai girls are one of the most beautiful, admirable and easily available sources of entertainment found in many of Phuket’s bars and clubs.
Phuket’s Baya Beach is a small disco club located in patong, right next to Tai Pan. This club is famous for its pretty Thai girls who wear sexy clothes and dance wildly in order to attract punters. People enjoy dancing and drinking in the company of such girls. If someone does not want to join dance he can have his own time by sitting aside at the corner of the bar.
Although this place is very small in capacity when compared with other bars and clubs nearby, it is one of the most visited clubs in Phuket. The thai girl attendants welcome you warmly and pay full attention to you, and soon you will find that they are good, fun company even if you do not want to take them to bed.
The price of beer is a little high at Baya Beach, but when it comes to the quality time you get there, dancing with your favorite girls you will feel that the price is acceptable as few other Phuket nightclubs provide this type of quality entertainment to their customers.
As the sun goes down everyday, the streets of Patong are crowded with locals as well as foreigners. Whatever they are seeking can usually be found at Baya Beach. This place is not only a bar, it also provides food along with sizzling drinks so you do not have to go out in search of snacks or meals. The full-on action starts at about 2 am at night as people dance to hip hop music and fall in love with the many Phuket girls.
the only thing Baya Beach lacks is space. The place is always full and bustling with people.

The nightlife in Phuket Town is also different from that of Patong and Karon. Phuket Town offers a more relaxed but still very lively night scene with many great and trendy bars and restaurants. It is a window to how modern Thais live everyday as the bars and nightclubs, in a way, represent Thai culture: fun and light.
Possibly the biggest attraction in Phuket Town would be the Thai-style night clubs. These would be spacious clubs but are still packed with people who are drinking, dancing and shouting or laughing. The entertainment that these bars offer would usually be a live band that plays a variety of music: from the Western favorites to Thai folk music. Although there are dance floors in these bars, locals usually cluster around standing tables, which covers up the dance floor area.
You can expect a large portion of the crowd to be made up of Thais, although there are still a good number of tourists scattered, mostly expats living and working in Phuket.
Now, if you are looking for the more traditional and regular pubs, there are also a number of these in Phuket town. They are usually run by foreigners and are considered to be great meeting spots. A lot of these bars are patronized by foreigners who have become established Phuket residents who want to unwind after a day’s work.

If you are not looking for an extremely lively crowd but do not want a relaxed venue as well, then Karon would be the place to go, similar to the bars and clubs in Kata. The nightlife here offers a balance between the rowdiness of Patong and the quietness of Kata.
Although there are also many tourists that go here, beer bars are not that many. The good thing about Karon is that you can eat at a nice open-air restaurant and not hear the noise from the beer bars that are just a couple of meters away.
Though there is a good selection of bars and restaurants in Karon, you can be sure that the bars are not too close together so the music is not that loud that it is already blaring. This makes Karon a great place to go pub crawling.
The nightlife in Karon is basically centered on the Luang Poh Chuan Road and the Aroona Karon complex. These areas offer a good number of pubs as well as the more traditional bars so you would be sure to find something that you would like. If you are looking for more trendy and more upscale bars to go to, then you could head on over to Luang Poh Chuan.

Kata offers a more informal and laid-back nightlife setting than Patong nightlife. If you are looking for a place where you can relax at night and just have a beer or a cocktail, then Kata would be the place to be. It is definitely less hectic and less crowded compared to Patong and more compact compared to Karon.
A lot of the evening venues in Kata are family-oriented or are more suitable for couples who are looking for a quiet and peaceful evening just talking with each other in an open-air restaurant or bar. There are outdoor cafes and quaint restaurants where tourists can just sit back and take in the beautiful night.
Most of the nightlife in Kata can be found in the northern portion of the beach which is close to Karon. In the southern portion, there are outdoor restaurants, local shops as well as a beer bar area. In between, you have the connecting road which is at the back area of Club Med.
If you are planning to stay in Kata and are interested to enjoy some nightlife, then one of the places that you must visit would be the Reggae Bar which offers a spectacular view as well as good food and fine drinks.

The nightlife in Patong can be described in so many ways: noisy, delightful, naughty, rowdy and unforgettable. As the sun sets, the lights in Patong turn on and the partying begins. Many girls and even transsexuals start having shows to entertain tourists and other visitors. It’s certainly the most colorful side of Phuket nightlife.
In Patong, you have an endless selection of go go bars and beer bars to go to. Beer bars in Thailand usually have female hostesses who serve food and drinks and offer conversation to male customers.
