Although there are also many tourists that go here, beer bars are not that many. The good thing about Karon is that you can eat at a nice open-air restaurant and not hear the noise from the beer bars that are just a couple of meters away.

Though there is a good selection of bars and restaurants in Karon, you can be sure that the bars are not too close together so the music is not that loud that it is already blaring. This makes Karon a great place to go pub crawling.

The nightlife in Karon is basically centered on the Luang Poh Chuan Road and the Aroona Karon complex. These areas offer a good number of pubs as well as the more traditional bars so you would be sure to find something that you would like.
