The nightlife in Patong is centered in Soi Bangla, though there are still some quiet parts you can go to on the beach.

Karon beach offers a long stretch of amazing white sand and is more peaceful compared to Patong. It offers a wide range of amenities, accommodations, dining options and activities. Although it is being developed rather quickly, the beach in Karon is well-spread out and is not likely to make you feel crowded. Many couples visit Karon for the spectacular view and romantic restaurants that provides a passionate setting.

Kata is considered as the family favorite because of the peaceful beach, warm accommodations and family-oriented restaurants. Kata also has a lively nightlife but is tamer compared to the other areas in Phuket. You can expect a couple of loud bars here and there but the many other less raucous bars balance them out.
